Work to home for me is about 12.5 miles and a climb of ~1800 feet. It takes about 27% of a charge with the AC blasting at like 68F & stereo on at 61 or 62 mph. I think you could do what you're asking about fairly safely if you were conservative with your heater usage and went a little slower...
