Wow, thanks for the great response! I'm still a little on the fence about getting a Leaf in the short term, so I'm hoping our ICE will last us long enough for the next major revision of the Leaf with the rumored range of 130+ mi. That would make it a lot easier to consider it an only car...

Thanks for the replies everyone. It sounds like the biggest issues are winter driving and using it as an only vehicle, as I was suspecting. I'm still considering purchasing a Leaf, but it sounds like waiting would be for the best unless our short-range driving increases significantly.
