Uh, can you cite that, or site that, or sight that, or..never mind.
BTW, nice Troll.
To LTLFTcomposite: It might be higher. The point, lost on some, is that what women think and want in an automobile drives the automobile industry--cause they buy the cars.
And another one bites the...
Oh, oh. Here we go again. If you are too lazy to google something that will pop up with numerous hits and sites, and you can do ON YOUR OWN TIME, I can't help you.
Women buy 60 percent of all new cars in the U.S. Regarding the purchase of an automobile, women make the buying decision, either solely or jointly, 80 percent of the time.
Quality is consistently considered the number one factor in automobile purchases.
Same here. I roundtrip 22 miles a day. Trickle charge usually stops at 80 percent by around 11:30 pm every night. My Leaf can lose some big time capacity and it would have no effect on me.
It's always good to have a contrarian in any organizational group. It helps prevent Groupthink. But, it should always come from someone who has a vested interest in the group. In our case, the person owns a Leaf.
Thanks for the tip on blacking out certain contributors. Trolling gets old after a...
Doesn't worry me a bit. Don't need to go 300 miles. Don't need a $2k EVSE--I trickle charge every night. No need for a 220. But if I did, EVSE upgrade is dirt cheap.
Let it degrade to 80 percent. I don't care. Still plenty of range for me. But in 5-10 years, probably be pretty cheap to replace...
Yeah, nickel and dime stuff like timing belts, serpentine belts, radiator flushes, transmission fluid changes, air filter changes. Shoot, oil changes alone are only $400 over the first 100,000 miles. Who'd complain about that? ;)
Native to "Cally" and I think it's sort of sweet considering we are a bankrupt state. Would you prefer The Left Coast? Californication? Our last governor loved to say "Caalllleeee-Fooooorrr-Neeee-Uhhhhh." How about CA-CA? Naw, that doesn't work either. I'll stick to CA since no one loves...
As some have pointed out, and I think it needs pointing out again, the $7.5k tax credit is a dead deal--non-issue unless you have paid taxes in that amount to get the full credit. If you pay only $2k in taxes (hint, hint), your credit is $2k. That ain't too good and does nothing to inspire you...
I'm not knocking the Wattstation (cause I use drip only so...). But there have been recent reports/threads of more than a few people having the GE charger knocking out something in the Leaf charging system, rendering it for repairs.
Again, I'm not trying to say anything bad about the...
RKSHAK,
What kind of phone do you have? If you have an Iphone or Ipad, you can use the Nissan Leaf app. You can set up your text message when fully charged in that app. Lot easier to deal with than the web site.
Just call the dealer and make sure all the recall/software upgrades have been done. More than likely they have been since the dealer had it all along, but better safe than sorry.
Make sure your Carwings account is transferred to you. They probably didn't do that. Just call the number in the...
This is one of the most misunderstood tax credits. The media doesn't help here either (do they on anything?). 8-)
It is a dollar-for dollar tax credit against the amount of taxes you pay to the Feds. If you don't pay $7,500 in taxes for the year that you purchase the Leaf, you only get...
You don't subscribe to Consumer Reports.
From Consumer Reports, April 2012:
"The Leaf feels quick at low speeds, is quiet, and rides comfortably. Cabin access is easy, and the rear is fairly roomy. We measured 3.16 m/kwh, the equivalent of 106 mpg. Running costs are extremely low: 3.5...
