The dealership just called me to let me know its going to take weeks before the part will arrive.

Good reply TimLee, you bring it down to earth. Also, a luxury EV that is on its way out early next year is the Infiniti LE. I've also been thinking about waiting for the LE, but its the same range as a leaf, just more expensive (but more luxury). Range to price is my biggest battle right now...

I knew it was dedicated for the 12v accessory battery, not the 400v main drive battery. My thinking on helping with range would be that it would help alleviate some of the load from running the AC/heater away from the 400v battery. It seems like that is not the case.

Hi all, I'm still doing some research about the leaf before I decide to pull the trigger. I'm looking at going SV or SL. I was wondering, does the PV cell on the roof of the SL make a noticeable difference in any way? What situations/scenarios does it really come into play?
