Lose the trees. I agree. In fact, lose all the displays, fire the people who designed them, and use "Leaf Spy". I just got it, and I have fallen back in love with my LEAF. It has all the necessary info info laid out in an intelligent and useable way.

My favorite LEAF news site, "http://soccernews.bigsoccer.com/topic/Nissan_Leaf" disappeared about November 14. Now all that appears is the message: No CMS found. :-( Anybody else use this site? It was the best one out there for news about the LEAF, and I really miss it.

I installed a signal booster 4 days ago. I now have an 86% success rate getting a battery charge update. Before the booster, it only worked 44% of the time. Still 14% failure rate is pretty high. Does anyone get better?

I am going to try a Wi-Ex zBoost YX540. The LEAF uses (nearly antique) 2G for some reason. I read in another post that AT&T will be phasing out 2G by 2017. I wonder if the LEAF could be upgraded to 4G?

Teg: The little box seemed to be a relay so that the light could be used as a running light AND a blinker. I just eliminated it. The flasher worked fine with no added resistor. The wires were really tiny... I soldered them to a "large" 18 guage wire, and put some shrink tubing around the splice.

DeaneG, EEk! I switched to E-9 in November and I am saving about $60/month. I saw the summer rates, but didn't see the part where you couldn't switch rates "every six months". Where is this written? I need to read the fine print to look for loopholes!
