Federal tax credit was reduced from $2K to $1K for 2011. AV postponement cost $1,000 for all those waiting to get their charging station installed by AV, like me.

Delays incurred by dealing with AV resulted in punting my installation to after January 2011 despite reserving on 5/14/10 and completing home assessment in October, resulting in loss of $1,000 in federal tax incentive. I am now seeking a different installer as part of a solar array installation.

...and it would be tempting to try to make situation specific sounds which would require attention being diverted to Airwings or smartphone - worse than texting while driving. How about just hooking up a microphone input jack and allowing public address?

Make VSP sound user selectable and independent of speed - consider allowing download of sound clips via Carwings similar to ringtones. This would have enormous customer appeal. Imagine being able to play an appropriate sound when passing a gas station.
