An air dam like the Chevy Volt might be the most sensible option:
Though the Volt has a much less aerodynamic undercarriage than the Leaf, it's possible the gains from the drag reduction will be outweighed by the increased frontal area.
Being a frequent lurker on Ecomodder has taught me one...
I think at least the Juke, Sentra and Versa have pretty much the same suspension as the Leaf. IIRC Altima and Maxima spare wheels fit the Leaf so their normal wheels should as well. And I know for a fact the Rogue Sport ( or Qashqai as it’s known this side of the pond) ships with identical...
Nope, the wires do go straight to the PDM, however part of them (between the Chademo port and the block connector show on the video) is not there on non-QC cars, Dala just bypassed that part. The VCM wiring is a bit of a hack but functionally identical to a stock car with QC.
It's made to mimic a normal automatic transmission car. It might be possible to remove with some advanced canbus trickery but it seems nobody has done it successfully yet.
The ZE1 leafs don't have straight access through the OBD port to the CAN busses like the earlier ones did. OVMS people have been working on getting data, see here: https://github.com/openvehicles/Open-Vehicle-Monitoring-System-3/issues/323
