I have a 2012 Leaf bought from Boardwalk Nissan in Redwood city. Looking to get another one.
I live in San Joaquin county and they have a $3000 rebate for 3 year lease. So for me it makes sense to get a 3 year lease and get the CVRP rebate of $2500 + $3000 county rebate.
Will I qualify for...
IMHO, CA residents should only sign 36 month lease to take advantage of $2500 CVRP rebate.
And if you are in San Joaquin county should definitely take advantage of the additional $3000 clean air rebate with a 3 year lease..
Both these rebates can bring down the effective monthly lease rate by...
You can do it in Japan, if you have Nissan Leaf.
The new ad for Leaf shows this and I guess US will have the same available in near future

I am comparing the cost of insuring the Leaf having a MSRP of $38K vs Benz E350 with a MSRP of $55K
The driver and coverage is same. For some reason Geico wants more money for Leaf.
It doesn't look like Geico is "EV" friendly. Hence my question
I have added my 2012 Leaf to my current insurance policy with Geico. The rate is $685 for 6 months.
I have a 2012 Mercedes E350 with same coverage and it costs me only $405.
The insurance cost for Leaf is outrageous.
Which is the best insurance company to insure Leaf ?
Update - 10/20/2012...
I have $2500 from CVRP and $3000 from my county as rebate. Got the quote as below for SL
First paymnet - $5000
Monthly - $229 + tax
36 months/12,000 miles
Good deal ?
