I cannot connect to my LEAF for the last 2 weeks now. 4 months ago paid for TCU upgrade, took 2 months for dealer to get it working, now I cannot connect. Any one else having this problem? It is bad enough that the app is shot, now the web access no longer works. What did I pay $200 for? :|

after 4 months. 4 visits and 6 days total at dealership, my TCU now works. However, my battery is now down to 66% of original life left, at 78K miles, I now can not travel more than 50 miles. Car is 5 years old and trade in value, 3 to 4 k. There is no way in hell I am buying a new battery for...

I have now replaced my failed coolant pump #1. $502 dollars shipped. Took about 1/2 hour to replace and I did not spill a drop of coolant. Now if I could just get the TCU working, My 75k mile LEAF will be in great shape again. I will be selling it for $3k next year when my Model 3 gets...

If you could read, you would know I already replaced the battery, and the Dealership can not make it work either. But those that can read know this. :roll:

Dealer gave me the car back, with non-working TCU for now. Dealer was told by Nissan Tech Support that they would have a fix in a couple of days. I will then have to take the car back in (making it 3 trips now) for hopefully the final time. On another note, they ran diagnostics and I was told...

Dealer has had car for 2 days now. They can not get the TCU to work. :|

After trying everything that I could find on the internet about the TCU not working after paying for upgrade, I now have an appointment for the 3/27. I will post what is found to be the problem, as many different problems have been listed, as well as some fixes after others have taken this plunge.

I purchased the LEAF SL model with all options in April 2012. So the 12volt battery was due for replacement. Up next is brake fluid change, and inverter cooling pump 2 is starting to go. That is the yellow intermittent light on your old LEAF dashboards. I will be trading this in on a Model...

Replaced battery, tested at 13.4 volts after 6 hours standing. Re-entered all information, and still Can not connect. Calling dealer and taking it back in. :(

OK, the 12V battery reads 12.1 after setting for a day. Stopping off at my favorite battery store tonight on the way home and get it replaced, then start the process over again and see what I get. As this battery is 5 years old, it is time to replace it anyway. I still have zero connection...

The first thing to try is disconnecting one of the battery cables for a couple minutes to reboot the TCU. Go into the CarWings settings in the NAV system and look at the Unit ID info. The telephone number should be 4 asterisks (****), and the other 4 lines should be populated with characters...

Tomorrow at noon will be 72 hours. I will try it again. The car shows error message: Can not connect, try again later. The very instant I touch the sign in button.
