I just read that the Leaf introduction for Holland is delayed by 6 months until June 2011. Sources say there are around 500 Leafs on order in Holland but Ireland, Portugal and the UK have a larger demand. Read more here...

Official price for the UK and the Netherlands 16th of May

From memory only 2500 units for the Netherlands. That's for a car market with a total sales prognoses of 425.000 units in 2010. Best year in Holland was around 600.000 car sales. I think the factory in Sunderland UK will provide Leafs for Europe from 2013.

How about a Sunmachine? It's a Sterling engine that can create heat and electricity from wood pallets. They also have a natural gas version. A solar and Kryo version are in development. Because of the German EEG feed-in tariff law this machine also benefits from it. You can get more money from...

Peak Oil has Likely Come and Gone - Now What?

Well it took me a while before I even got to these insights. That is quite scary actually because I realize most people do not even think about this. They just pay the prize at the pump and pay the prize for all the other energy and are even willing to make lifestyle changes because of it...

Peak Oil has Likely Come and Gone - Now What?

The time argument is nonsense and it's brought into this world by the conventional power players. Nothing can be implemented faster then renewable energies.

    France to Buy 50,000 EVs

France will be dependent on Uranium from unstable countries. And Nuclear contributes to warming up the atmosphere and nearby waters. Because the energy released wouldn't have been there if there was no uranium used. And mining is also bad for the environment. I wonder with 100 nuclear plants...

Peak Oil has Likely Come and Gone - Now What?

I read the book about the topic of wind power he uses the figure of 20kWh/d per person. But then this: What kind off assumption is this? An electric car uses much less energy then a gas powered one. How can you compare a gas car to wind power an come to the above conclusion? I cannot fill my...

New Vote Vets Ads - Energy Independence

I am a fan of Dr. Hermann Scheer. One of the key players in rolling out the EEG feed-in tariff law in Germany. He is Member of the German Parliament, since 1980; President of EUROSOLAR - The European Association for Renewable Energy; General Chairman of the World Council for Renewable Energy...
