I am wondering if any folks on here make this commute in their leaf and what that looks like. I have a friend there that is looking at a leaf but is concerned about the range especially in the winter.
Thanks.
You have to calculate if it makes sense for you to buy it out. I would think something less than 6k maybe even 5k. I effectively paid $7,750 for my 13sl with 27k on it if you subtract the payments I no longer have to make. If that helps you gauge it any.
You can go to any. I leased my car in CO originally. Bought out the lease in OH. I believe they do have to verify the mileage for dmv paperwork as it is just like buying any other car.
Just in case it might be useful for others here are the details of my experience today buying out the lease on my 2013 SL.
3 Year lease 36k miles
May 2014 to May 2017
Residual was $14.5k
Four more payments to go.
Current mileage is 27.4K miles all bars but probably going to lose the first one...
I could see them sponsoring a team but I doubt they run their own. It simply costs too much. I would love to see them do it but I won't hold my breath.
From what I have seen on these forums they will continue to offer it. If I recall there have been previous expiration dates on these deals only to be taken up again right after with the same or better deal. I am in the same boat holding out until my lease is up in '17. If they offer an amount...
I had never seen one of these until I moved to OH a few weeks ago. The other day only one of the three I visited was working. The one has weekly connection issues it seems with greenlots, among other issues. To be fair the ABB ones in CO were terrible for reliability. Maybe 5% uptime. It was...
I wondered about it as well. I never found or never searched for what would happen if I didn't put the sticker on. Honestly I rarely even see it as it is mounted up high on the pass side out of the way. My thought was it may be a way for a parking person or police officer to recognize that it...
I personally hope these are still around when my lease is up. I will take it in a heartbeat. With a commute of 15-16 miles round trip and the ability to L2 charge at home I can see it lasting forever as a commuting vehicle at least until I move again for work. :D
I attached my sale docs the first time as .jpg as I just took pics with my phone because the sale form is so long. After two months I followed up with them as I heard nothing. They said they couldn't see the documents but could my w2s that were .pdf files. So I converted and resent them after...
I tried out the L3 at Larry H Miller. Unsure if they close the gates at night. If they don't it should be accessible 24x7. Although because it is right in front of their office I suspect it will be iced a lot.
Edit: Looks like this one is not on the list. I found out via plugshare. It is...
