I haven't run a full-->zero discharge for distance yet, but my new 1025 Leaf, from purchase to now(about 200 miles, mainly commute and local), shows average 5.1 mile/kwh. This should give me 5.1x24=122 miles distance.

Park should save a little power (no brake lights) and good for brake system. Only concern is, is it good to switch between P/D frequently?

Thanks. I am in CA, the rate is 0.15-0.17/kwh . My calculation is charge 1 hour= 4 mile=15Ax110V=25c, so 6c/mile. Still better than gas ;) . BTW when I charge in my garage though 110V outlet, after a while, I unplug the charger, the 110V outlet is pretty hot. Is this same in your case...
