a) is it going to null my warranty
b) the quote explains what a shim is but the material will need to be suitable for the wear
c) if I am getting outside edge wearing where do I put the shim
d) what material should it be?
So armed with my shiny new torque wrench, a trolley jack and axle stands, I plan to move back tyres to front tomorrow.
Reading other places, it says that if I jack up on the front of the car, the back will raise too and I should be able to do a quick switch!!?

I have been told there is no alignment adjusters at the rear and that it would need to be a full new axle but customer services has basically said that they believe the dealer as they are the experts. If I wanted another opinion I had to go to a new dealer start over and pay to have another...
So got 4 wheel alignment. The same wheel is out of tolerance but Dealer has said it would make no difference. Have referred to Nissan Customer Services who has said they believe the dealer. But I argue, if it is out of Nissan's own tolerance surely something is the matter?

Sorry should justify the dealer not done and add “as standard”.
Alignment being checked courtesy of the dealer now but leaf rear axle is fixed and cannot be adjusted. I have argued that this just means they would need to replace anything that causes alignment issues then.
