Loved my 2019 Leaf Plus EV. It performed as advertised and was a fun and practical Ev. However, once Nissan decided to sell the Ariya in the U.S. with a CCS charge port, we began thinking about switching to a a larger EV that uses the CCS standard. Since it was unclear whether we would be...
This is the sneak preview article that I should have posted (it includes a photo of the charge rate on the long range Leaf):

Thanks for the feedback. I will give the Kia Niro a look. Charging speed is key for me as well, but probably not as important as rear legroom (my daughter is growing rapidly). Thus I will peek at the Niro, even though I prefer the exterior looks of the Kona. That said, if the Kona's legroom...
If I were in your shoes I would wait until the 60 kWh Leaf hit the market and then trade in your 2015 Leaf for a 2018 Leaf. The 60 kWh Leaf should be on the market by Spring/Summer 2019 and around that time you should see some solid deals on the 2018 Leaf's remaining inventory. Not only will...
Per my message below, i was waiting for a call back from Nissan to tell me whether the code/serial number they provided to Sirius XM resolved the issue I was having with the Nissan Connect EV app. I did not receive a call back. That said, about a week after Nissan transmitted the code/serial...
I have had issues with Nissan Connect EV as well. I bought 2018 Leaf SL back in early February. The app would not display any charge/mileage info and I could not control the car’s temperature remotely, even though I was all set up at the Owner’s Portal and all the info in my car’s touch...
Still a bit too early to talk in detail about it. What I can say is that in my opinion it looks much better than the older generation(s) Leaf. Most people I have shown the 2018 have commented that it looks like a "normal car" or crossover. I tend to agree. As for other items...thee is ample...
I think that is right. They also charge you less for the weather package on the SL...likely because you pay more for the trim. At the end of the day, I git a fully loaded 2018 Leaf for $36,500. A little more than I planned to spend, but I am happy with the purchase.
I took delivery of a brilliant silver SL here in northern NJ on February 10, 2018. I wanted a gun metallic SV with the technology package, but the only SVs they had in my area were SVs with the Weather Package. I figured I would go and test drive an SV and wait for the specific model I wanted to...
