    End of Lease Strategies?

I have a 2016 SV, with a replaced battery, 20,000 miles, 2 years out of a 3 year lease paid. Just went to Nissan site and was quoted a buy out of $14,080. Looks enticing on the surface, any pitfalls to taking it now? Monthly lease payments $299, buy out on lease is $11,020 plus $300.

Yikes, degradation is looking bad (2018 Leaf)

SageBrush, I have the upgrade, didn't really change anything for me, as the second battery was only weeks old. I'll be back on the board next year looking for more advise on buy or turn in. Can't remember what you said that long, LOL. Thanks,

Yikes, degradation is looking bad (2018 Leaf)

I just finished going through the battery blues with a 2016 SV, lost 2 bars in 2017 at 7,500 miles, finally in April 2018 lost the last of my 4 bars and was given a new battery. This was ahead of the software update, which is lucky, because of everything I read, I would NOT have been given a...

    End of Lease Strategies?

Approximately how long before the end of the lease would you start negotiations? Also, can ANY Nissan dealer in the US handle the transaction?

    End of Lease Strategies?

I am in Orlando, Fl - the car was made in November of 2015 and I leased it in October 2016. I suspect that the year it spent on the lot, it may have been fully charged most of the time. In fact another LEAF driver purchased one from the same dealership and is having the same battery issues as...

    End of Lease Strategies?

I have already lost 3 bars at around 11,000 miles and have until 10/19 for my lease to end. I am seriously thinking about buying a used Tesla S to end my range anxiety/limitations. A Bolt lease also is in the thinking. Thoughts?

2016-2017 model year 30 kWh bar losers and capacity losses

Just a little earlier than those I suspect. Only really noticed it when I charged to 100% and saw the bar gone. I had noticed the GOM reading was not as high as it had been in the last week or so, but didn't really think too much about it, until I saw the bar had gone, then I knew why the GOM...

2016-2017 model year 30 kWh bar losers and capacity losses

2016 SV 7293 miles lost first bar, seems early to me based on other posts. 11/15 manufacture, 10/16 lease start for me, so do not know what the dealership did to the vehicle here in Orlando, FL between those two dates. Fortunately a leased car, so there is an end in sight.

Who Is The World's Leading EV Maker? [Forbes]

They seem to be caught up in the self driving fever so they are blinded by the lack of improvement in their existing platform (read bigger battery = more range)
