Just had an unfortunate encounter with the Hollywood Blink Quick Charge. It would start charging and then give an error message. I called Blink and re created the event with the representative watching over the network. She said it was a brand new error code that nobody has seen so far...
It's the cold weather impacting battery chemistry. We got our car in March and we noticed that the range wasn't as great as we expected, but by the summer we were able to make 90 mile trips with no problems. Now we are noticing a decrease in range.
Building is one thing. But will they be functional and available? They have had a poor track record with both home and public L2 chargers. I can't think of any reason why the more complicated L3 will be any different.

Well I think the decision has already been made to use I-5. There is a plan to put L-3 along I-5 from BC to Mexico. It looks like Washington will be first with 9 chargers complete by the end of this year and Oregon has announced plans for a network of chargers in NW Oregon (most not on I-5)...

Does anybody know who to contact to see if a particular Shorepower facility is working? My wife tried to use the one at the PGE Contact Center in Tualatin. It was nonfunctional. She made it home before turtle mode, but we only had 7 miles left.
