All, Well, I brought my '17 Leaf in for the software update and it seemed to do the trick. I now have 12 bars again on the battery capacity meter. And I seem to have a few more miles of "range" when I get into the car in the morning after charging overnight. I hope this isn't just a cosmetic...

I'm an new Leaf owner. Mine is a used 2017 model w/ 30 KWh battery pack. When I tried to use Nissan Connect I found out that the TCU was not "on." I am heading into the dealer this morning (1/17/18) to have it activated. I read a lot of the posts in this thread (but not all of them :) )...
