    Dealer Bricked my Leaf?

What is the voltage on the connected 12V battery terminals (i.e. the 12 volt circuit) when car is switched OFF?

Why DC - DC converter runs continuously when car is off ?

Hi Vokxu very exciting that we have passed the 'it's a faulty 12V battery' stage. No opinion about the specific problem, but disappointed the 12V disconnect afrer 'OFF from no break' did not fix the problem. I still wonder if you are right in assuming this (4.5A current) is the reason . . ...

Why DC - DC converter runs continuously when car is off ?

I believe that the DC-DC is working when ON, so does simply not switch OFF (HV relay stays open The DC-DC is also working when AC is connected; so again does not switch OFF The reason your workaround works is that it is not suppose to activate the HV (DC-DC), but is still making sure that it...

Nissan Leaf 2018 ZE1 service ev system no power in red

I believe it is even easier, so just in case you have not yet tried the empty battery method. Start electronics (2xstart no break) followed by switching ON and OFF headlamps and heater. Please let me know how it goes. Or let me know that I should mind my own business and stop being so...

    My LeafSpy DTC 2013

It would not be a miracle if you fix all your problems in 10 sec by: Start electronics (2x start without break) and switch heater/full beam ON and OFF a couple of times. Please can you let me know if this worked? I am also still interested in the OFF voltage. Sorry to be such a pain.

    Service EV system

Thanks for your reply. I do care about the problem, however sporadic it happens (just as a nerd). II believe that the very small population encountering these issues (bricking the car!) will be unhappy with the total lack of competent support from NISSAN. NISSN (as a business) does not care...

    Service EV system

I asked anybody with an EV System . . . message what their measurements are (not should be). What question did you answer? I am sincerely curious. Are we not on the same side? My question to anybody with the EV system msg: What is the voltage on the 12volt circuit when the car is OFF?

    Service EV system

no AGM battery installed??? I do not see any relevance to that. My point is that the 13+ is being attributed to the battery in many cases. Many posters experienced the problem, but were not aware. I am still waiting for the answer as to what the voltage is on the 12volt circuit when this car...

    Service EV system

Car ON --> 13+ volt Car OFF --> 12.x volt Car OFF AND 13+ volt = FAULTY --> EV System message and bricking the car We need to think as we have to find a way to get the car back to OFF12 or ON13. We can not count on any certified, trained, accredited , authorised NISSAN dude to do any...

    Service EV system

So, what is it? And why is it that so often 13+ voltage is being (incorrectly) attributed to such wonderful 12V batteries. Will the answer in this case be below 13 volt? The car does not start, so something is not as it should be. I did ask for the voltage on the circuit while the 12V is...

What is the voltage on the 12volt circuit when the car is OFF? 12volt circuit and terminals on the 12V battery are the same.

I feel your pain as it seems so hopeless. Can I suggest you take a drained healthy 12V (<12volt) to the garage and replace the brand new 12V with the drained one. Go back the next day and drive home in the Leaf (hopefully). I try to demonstrate my logic; Car is OFF - running on 12V - HV bus...
