    2018 TPMS vs. 2013 TPMS?

Answered my own question. The new (2018) sensors are 433, while the old ones 315. Not cross compatible.

    2018 TPMS vs. 2013 TPMS?

Hello All, Just picked up a set of winter tire/rims and they were from a 2018 Leaf. I have a 2013 Leaf. I know they changed the freq on the TPMS sensors, but wondering if these will work? Also, do I need to get the new wheels TPMS coded to the car? I have Leaf Spy, but not sure that will work to...

Replacing NissanConnectEV with OVMS in a Gen1 Leaf

Just to make sure before I pull the trigger on the hardware... I've got a Sept 2013 build date, SV. If I get the modem and disconnect the TCU (and make the mods) I'll be able to run the climate control remotely without being plugged in? Thank you again for all the work on this!

Replacing NissanConnectEV with OVMS in a Gen1 Leaf

Just came across this thread! I fixed my PTC heater last year (2013 Leaf), and I'm interested in getting to preheat/defrost my car in the winter at work (park outside, not plugged in). As far as I can tell, you can't turn the heat on with the Climate timer if the car is not plugged? Am I wrong...

    Cold inside. Heater on blink

Could be a sensor issue with your code, but 2013's with the original PTC heaters are all almost burned out (if they weren't replaced with the updated part). This doesn't really show up until the car calls for it to be turned on (think cold temps below what the heat pump can provide, and a high...

    Cold inside. Heater on blink

90% sure it's your PTC heater. I just replaced mine a month ago after the same behavior as yours. Works great now, and the heat is nearly instantaneous. Here's the link to my DIY (with much help/input from the rest of this forum!). Not a terribly hard job, but make sure you don't shock yourself...

2013 SL PTC replacement (DTC Codes B2773/B2774)

Finally.. I got around to doing this. This was not an easy DIY, but not impossible with the right tools. This took me about 4 hours. This is for the US market, left hand drive version. I have a 2013 with the heat pump and PTC heater (which coded as B2773 and B2774). I bought a new PTC heater...

2013 SL PTC replacement (DTC Codes B2773/B2774)

HI All.. just checked back on this, sorry for the delay! I got my brand new PTC heater from an online seller for about $700 total. It was not packaged all that well, and when I pulled it out of the box, one of the plastic mounting tabs on the side had broken off. I sent it back, and they are...

2013 SL PTC replacement (DTC Codes B2773/B2774)

Thank you. I have looked over the service manual info, which wants you to remove the entire dash. I'm hoping to avoid that!

2013 SL PTC replacement (DTC Codes B2773/B2774)

Hello All.. I thought I'd start this as a separate post. Looking to replace my faulted PTC heater in my 2013 SL (codes B2773/B2774). My understanding looking through all the posts on here is that the upgraded replacement part (27143-3NF1B) has different resistance than my OEM one, and therefore...

    Wheel Hub Bearing Help?

UPDATE: Had the rears replaced and that solved the issue!

    Wheel Hub Bearing Help?

Ok.. found a freshly paved stretch of highway so I could really listen/try to diagnose. Overall highway noise was reduced by R&R'ing the front bearings, but the 68-72 howl is still present. You can barely hear the drone start at roughly 50mph and seems to increase with speed. It does in fact get...

    Wheel Hub Bearing Help?

So.. had both front hub bearings replaced. No change in the noise or speed at which it occurs as I posted above. Anyone on here have the rear bearings go bad? It really sounds like it's coming from the front, but it could be the rear? Hard to tell.. I just wonder how pervasive it is that the...

    Wheel Hub Bearing Help?

Thank you all for the replies and insight. I'll have the front bearings replaced and see if that fixes it. Thank you again! :P
