any one considered helium?,approx. the same thermal conductivity as mineral oil,very safe inert gas,used as a fire retardant and purge gas and cheap,small weight saving,i presume the battery pack has a vent somewhere which would need a work around.

when was the gen2 leaf first sold in usa?,can you tell by the vin number if they were blessed with a lizard battery or not?,my gen2 was built nov 2013 in japan and was sold to me as having the new lizard battery (24 kw),does anybody know for sure?some on this forum are saying 2015 and some are...
