No. That test was not listed as required in the electrician's instructions for installation that came with the EVSE.

Just an update. The EV charging station was installed today by a local electrician without a problem. Now I just have to wait another month until I have something to plug it into.

For those who may be interested in an update...The local electical inspector did his own investigation & research and came to the same conclusion, no ventilation needed. He issued a permit to me and the charging dock will be installed on Friday. One step closer to getting my LEAF!

I just ordered my 2012 LEAF SL through Pinebelt Nissan in Keyport. Seems as though I'm their first. Using a local electrician to install AV's wall mounted charging dock in my garage. So much cheaper than through AV. Now comes the waiting. Has anyone else from NJ placed an order?
