A few days ago I discovered that Homelink on my 18 SV is operational when the car is off. If my car is unlocked, and parked near my garage, someone could open the garage and get inside while I was asleep or way. Is there a way to change Homelink to only operate when the car is on?

On June 23, I replaced by 2013 SV with an 18 SL. I noticed that the navigation map date is 2017. When i called Nissan customer service, i was told i could buy the 2018 maps. My question for other 18 Leaf owners is what is the map date do you have. Thanks, Steve
