4% SOH drop in six weeks on new car

SOH seems to routinely go up and down by 2-4%. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Once you get a feel for where it usually is you'll know if it has dropped down into a new low. (Say it says between 98 and 94 right now, in 6 months that might be more like between 96 and 92.)

2017 Leaf S, jerking, or skipping when coming to a stop only 62 miles

I get the same thing on my 2016. Any time I'm breaking while hitting rough pavement or potholes. Feels *way* different than a normal ABS, but I think that might be what it is...

Lost my 3rd bar today - 16,972 miles - my thoughts

Answers from the point of view of a 2016 leaf owner: 1. In a 2016 there's a special B-mode which is like engine breaking in an ICE but instead it does extra regen. 3. In a 2016 there's an option to hide the clock on the infotainment system. But it does annoyingly still have 2 unsynced clocks...

Is it time for me to buy?

Mine was new (no previous owners, qualifies for fed tax incentives). 44 miles on the Odo. I've put about another 700 on it so far.

Is it time for me to buy?

I bought a 30 KWh 2016 Leaf S about a month ago and I live less than 100 miles North of you so we have similar weather. The last real cold snap we had last weekend (around 20 degF Sunday morning) I had the heat going and I took a trip ~60 mile round trip way down I-95 at 65-70 mph (hostly...

What is your GOM reading after a full charge. 30 KWH BATT

I have a 2016 S-30. In warm weather (60-70 degF ambient) I see around 125. Highest I've seen so far was 133. In cold weather (30-40 degF ambient) I see 118 to 125.

The official "I got my Leaf" thread

Got a 2016 S-30 New. (48 miles on the Odo, no previous owners.) Purchase price after all incentives and rebates was $20,000. Since it was new, it qualifies for the federal tax credit as well. The GOM usually reads around 125 with a full charge! I only have a 15 mile round trip commute, so I...

Should I charge every night even if I don't need the range?

I got a new 2016 Leaf S-30 from a dealer about 3 weeks ago. It seems like a lot of the common internet wisdom is based on older Leafs, such as the ones with an 80% charge option. I have read that most of the things impacting battery life are heat, depth of discharge (that is, bringing it all...
