What about a solar charger at home to help off-set the cost of higher elect. bills using 220VAC (see my other post about heavy usage charging over 8 hrs)? Even the battery (charger?) manufacturer admits to heavy elect. drain using the 220V option.
:o I just heard that charging the car using 220VAC, over an 8-hour period, uses as much electricity that a typical home uses in 24 hours. Haven't done the math, and yes you'd save money on gas, but talk about hi electric bills... Power companies should give owners a break on their bills.

Only ONE stop in Texas?? And in Houston??! Bad choice in my view. I would of chosen Austin, and not just because I live there, but it's the most progressive and 'green' city in Texas. Could you add a stop here?
