    That would be the latter--the 1st bar dropping on my first charge pissed me off. But it also netted some consideration from the seller, so net, if I get the battery replaced under warranty, I'll be happy. Either way, I'll have the car for a while.

    Lost my third bar today at 7,500 miles. 2016 SV, spent its first 5,000 miles in Arizona before I bought it and moved it to Virginia. Dropped its first bar the first time I charged it. So lost 3 bars in 2, 500 miles.

    I lost my 2nd bar today at 5,940 miles. AHr= 58.28, SOH=73%, Hx=73.13%. 5 QC, 257 L1/L2. 5,940 miles. Sweet.

    Yes--30 kWh. So, is BMS reset as a matter of routine, or would someone reset it to hide something? In other words, why would a BMS be reset? And who can reset it?

    Thanks. How long can I expect before losing the next bar (percentage)? I got the car with 4,961 miles on it (shipped from AZ to VA), and it wasn't fully charged. I didn't count the capacity bars at the time. I noticed the bar drop the next day after charging to 100%, with 4,983 miles on it...

    Here's mine, a 2016 SV. Just bought it with less than 5,000 miles. Built in 10/2015. Not sure what it tells me. Dealer says it had 12 bars when they shipped it, has 11 now. Any possibility that's true? When does it lose the 1st bar?
