my 2015 SL most definitely has individual bars.. I think it is just a fuzzy picture.

So long as there are 2 adjacent free slots in your breaker panel, installing a line and plug is straightforward.
You probably know this, but BC electrical code doesn't allow piggybacking of more then one 200v device on a single 220 circuit, and I'd assume that is the same for all of Canada.
So...
I also just started driving a 2015 SL (418km on the odo right now).
I installed a 220V charging station, hard-wired into a 220V set of breakers in my electrical panel. It takes about 3 hours to go from <15% to full charge.
I've never used the 110V charger that comes with the car, but if you...
Curious if anyone has any insight in to this problem I'm having..
..bought an ELM327 OBD-II (Wifi, since I have an iPhone); got it from the link on the broadreachsoftware.com page from the "tall adapter" link.
Got LEAF Stat v1.1
Plug OBD into car, 5 lights flash then back to 2 red, and I see...
Just picked up my 2015 SL, and yes indeed still manufactured in Tennessee, as opposed to what salesperson was saying.
Still 5 year / 100,000km battery warranty.
Still disclaimer that the future replacement cost of the battery is "not known".
Damn fun car to drive.
Much appreciate the perspective from a Leaf salesperson. My Dad was a truck salesman many years ago when I was young and I certainly knew first-hand how much effort went into coming home with such a small paycheck each month.
Having said that, I owned a software development company that wrote...
Metallic Slate.
And my ELM327 OBD adapter arrived today also so will be interesting to see stats from a new 2015 -- though I'm sure everything is exactly the same as the 2014 model.
The ship has arrived in Vancouver port and 2015 Leaf's are being offloaded and trucked to dealerships.
Picking up my new SL this weekend. Very excited ! :D
Hi John, Congratulations !
I'm in Vancouver and take posession of a 2015 SL next week also. I have iPhone so got LeafStat and a Wifi dongle from Amazon:
Wireless Elm327 WIFI OBD 2 Car Diagnostic Reader Scanner for Iphone
I believe that if you have iPhone you need the Wifi version of the dongle...
Well, my local Chevron was at $6.20 today (North Vancouver, $$1.52/litre $CAD; 3.78litre/gal, and $CAD->$USD is $1.08 today).
So, I'd be happy if it were "only" $5/gal.. at least for another week until I get my new 2015 Leaf SL :)
