    RapidGate Fix?

Anyone hear anything else on this?

    2018 SL under 30K

If that includes licensing and sales tax, it's a great deal. If not, it is a decent deal for this time of year. What is your sales tax rate? SL adds leather, Bose stereo, all around camera. See how much more they want for that, it may be modest.

Which should I get: Nissan leaf SL or Chevrolet Volt?

Thx, I must have though GM was on a similar pace as Tesla. This makes a big difference, so appreciate the correction.

Which should I get: Nissan leaf SL or Chevrolet Volt?

They should do it sooner than that, their Fed Tax Credit will be cut in half after year end!

Which should I get: Nissan leaf SL or Chevrolet Volt?

Thoughts on how dealers will handle the discontinued Volt? Discounted pricing, or maintain pricing as "you won't be able to get them anymore"?

    ProPilot using more charge?

Wow, at first I thought you added a zero to the mileage, but then noticed your commute distance. Will be interesting to see how your battery holds up, as you are on track to hit almost 66k km/year, or about 41k miles/year. Are you tracking it with LeafSpy? Your experience may give an early...

Leaf Spy and Leaf Spy Pro

LeafSpy Lite is not correctly reporting my odometer reading on my 2018 SL. Is this a known issue? It was working for a while, but I noticed it did not update correctly today. I don't know if the other stats are similarly frozen at old readings, but the Odometer is an obvious one. Thx for any help!

    Considering an upgrade to 2017

I think a 2018 would be more suitable, to give you some more range buffer. Currently a 2k rebate from Nissan and 1k Leaf loyalty rebate, at last in my region. You might not have too much of a premium over a 2017.

    Potentially Totaled 2015 SV

Over 6k for the salvaged vehicle. Seems very high, so was not going to consider keeping it. They are offering 13k as actual car value, which I am considering contesting. Anyways, if anyone is interested in the salvage at that level, please PM me. Dave, just read through your blog experience...

2018 Leaf - preferred trim and options

Unfortunately my 2015 SV was recently totaled, so I need to replace it with something. Could go with a used 2016 SV in the $15k range, or jump in to a 2018.

2018 Leaf - preferred trim and options

Been recently considering a 2018 Leaf, and it seems to me the best two options are either: a) Go with an S or SV with all-weather package (if needed). or b) If you want the Tech Package/Pro Pilot, might as well go all the way with an SL, as an SV with tech package is so close in price, that...

    Potentially Totaled 2015 SV

I was wondering if there is any interest in the vehicle from any members here, and if it would be worthwhile from a cost perspective. Thx! Updated original post with mileage and battery stats.

    Potentially Totaled 2015 SV

My wife was just involved in a collision to the front of our Leaf - not at fault, but waiting to see the police report for confirmation. Fortunately nobody was injured. Extensive damage to front - tow truck driver thought it was a Total. However, he was able to drive it (with lots of grinding...

How to buyout Lease to 3rd party

Thanks, this is actually going to take place at lease end, so no issue there. Just wondering if anyone here has actually done it, and any hoops they had to jump through or roadblocks encountered. Thanks!

How to buyout Lease to 3rd party

Is it possible to have a 3rd party pay off the residual at lease end, and get the title of the car? Wondering how feasible this is to avoid paying double sales tax. In WA state. Do I need to go through a Nissan dealership or NMAC directly? Thx for any advice!

Near Turtle to cells balanced: 20.8 kW with 2015 Leaf with 24 kW battery: Low kW? As expected? Battery losing capacity?

I was just wondering about this myself. Looks like the most I've I've gotten into my 2015 SV from a ChargePoint station was 21.155kWh, but that was about a year ago. I'm pretty sure I was well past VLBW for that charge, but I've never taken it to Turtle. Still have all 12 bars.

    Leaf 2018 Reviews

Did a 2018 test drive a couple days ago. E-pedal was pretty easy to adjust to. Pro Pilot was nice too, but we couldn't get the lane departure warning to sound. Might need to be on a freeway for it to work. Overall, quite liked the new design!

Test Drive: Kia Soul EV vs Bolt Premiere vs 2013 Leaf SV

Agreed! The legislative risk was a hard one to foresee coming though. Timing is unfortunate for the 2018 Leaf if it goes through.

Test Drive: Kia Soul EV vs Bolt Premiere vs 2013 Leaf SV

Thanks for the review, very informative. The Soul (at least the ICE version) does score well across the board in safety ratings.
