My current lease 24 months with 15k/y at $240 with zero down. I doubt I will get anything that low in the coming years on a new EV. The range is the only issue for me as in winter I'm running short by 20 miles daily. Must limit heat or rather have it off. I'm sold on EV, just need a true 100mi...
Confirmed today, the new buyout credit is now $6500. I have a 2013 S with QC and residual is $15. I will check with Carmax on the buy price. Maybe I could make money on this deal as a trade in is at $14k per Edmunds.
tell them you will take the car to your licence office yourself and take fees off, or ask the local office to print out the estimated fees for you. my fees in indiana were $280 and the dealer wanted twice that amount.
Take a look at my deal, all I have to pay now is plates for $300.

My original intent was to lease 2013 S w/QC at $208 per month, $500 down, 15k mi, 24 months. But the rates have changed yesterday and went up by $32. I am picking the car up tomorrow morning. See attached worksheet with all details. It took me since July to get this close and kind of lost in the...
I will be getting an L2 after all at home (CC LCS-25 on sale for $495) . Now it's only a matter of S or SV. If workplace can offer even 110v in winter, S w/QC should be enough. SV costs $80 more per month, that's way over my bottom line. Can't justify $2000 to keep my rear warm for a couple of...
On my way to the office this morning (I work for a huge plant), I stopped by a utilities building with a 110v plugs on the wall 6 ft from the parking row. Perfect location to charge up. I've asked inside the building if I could plug in during winter. One guy said sure go ahead, second guy...
I am about to lease 2013 S w/QC. With Chicago winters, 55mi RT daily, am I making a right choice? Should I opt for an SV instead? Will have L2 at home, not sure if work will allow yet, so not counting work then.
Great info. Thank you
Would SV with better heater pump help in winter on L2 at home only? The install of L2 might take until later this year, just in time for winter. That's at least $80 more per month for SV.
If my workplace would allow 240v or even 110v, I think S would be enough for me.
I am about to lease a 2013 Leaf S with QC. Not having L2 at home, can I get by with 110v and 55mi daily commute where 90% is freeway, flat terrain in Chicagoland? Will 12hrs get me the 55mi range? Any left for heat in winter? Can't find the exact info online and can't trust the salesman! :-) One...
