    End of Lease Strategies?

I also agree NMAC is going to lose longer term by leaving this to the dealers. They have also not been clear, back in April I asked NMAC about incentives and they said there were not any from NMAC, we just needed to work with the dealers. I (mis)took that to mean it would be at residual/payoff...

    End of Lease Strategies?

It appears to me that the incentives have largely evaporated, just based on dealer response. The only quotes I've been able to get were based on May numbers valid through June 5th. Maybe there are new ones, but the dealers I was dealing with were pretty dismissive. Typical quotes on my 2015 SV...

    End of Lease Strategies?

Tim at Stone Mountain was very nice, but it sounds like they do not have new numbers in for June. Accordingly, their offer was not very attractive, roughly $10k driveout on a $12k balance. He was almost apologetic when he got back to me, but without updated numbers from Nissan it's all his...

    End of Lease Strategies?

Heard back from Todd, he is no longer handling clients outside of Utah. Have not been able to reach Brian yet, but will keep trying. Any other suggestions to work with in the Atlanta area? At this point I think I'm going to see what the June incentives are and proceed from there.

    End of Lease Strategies?

Thanks all! Yes, looks like $4700 might be the May number based on the one dealer offer I have. They (of course) added $599 documentation fee + $250 tag/title, which is why the number did not register with me. Regarding forum dealers, I've emailed Tom. Also tried to reach Brian as he's close...

    End of Lease Strategies?

Thanks, I had read the entire thread before posting. I had also contacted Brian and Tom, but have not heard back from them yet. The Feb, Mar, and Apr incentives are all in the thread. But no mention of May. Local dealer quoted $9500 buyout drive out against a $12.2k balance/residual. Even...

    End of Lease Strategies?

Anyone know the current buyout incentives for 2015 SV w QC? 24 mth 30k mile lease. Sounds like they might have been $6700, can anyone confirm for May? Had not planned to buy ours, buy now reconsidering. Will turn it in this week (June 1) most likely unless I can get a decent buyout offer. I...

    2013/2014 Nissan Leaf Lease Information

My initial End of Lease offer from NMAC was 12 mth renewal at same pmt & Mileage, but I only make 10 of the 12 pmts. Not an attractive deal given the GA tax credit impact of doing another lease. Also of interest is that the residual of our 2013 was about $6k more than our 2015, yet the...

'16 30 kWh pack - backwards compatibility and warranty?

In the OEM LiIon world (loose cells) the normal developmental path is the same form factor/package size will see incremental improvements in capacity (AH) each year. Same cost, same package. It's a chemistry/mfg thing... not a packaging thing normally. This does not mean that there are not...

HELP.. Georgia Tax Increases imposed on electric vehicles

So I'm guessing that at your first tag renewal (birthday month) after July 1, 2015, we'll be hit with the $200 charge?

    EVs Blocking Charging Stations

Problem with the new charger at work is EV's parked but not charging. 8 spaces, 4 charge ports. I'll come in and find 1 charging, 7 not. I'm going to preprint some cards reminding them it's not special parking for EV's, to please move your car after charging as some of us need to charge to get...

HELP.. Georgia Tax Increases imposed on electric vehicles

Given the feeding frenzy in May, I wondered the same. The $200 tax is a bit bogus in how it was calculated, but I can at least understand the concept. Total loss of the State rebate will kill EV's in GA. Which is pretty pathetic given we constantly have "Clean Air" Issues which cost us much...

2015 Georgia Lease Deals (Please post your details here)

2013-2014 bar losers and capacity losses

I'm wondering if this might be the case as my '13 experience was radically different than much of what I read here. Just turned in a late model year 2013 SV. 28600 miles in GA, charged pretty much daily to 100%. Tried to avoid charging if not below 80%, but did do it if required. (My commute...

Just FYI, these methods no longer appear to work with newer versions of Google maps

    2013/2014 Nissan Leaf Lease Information

my understanding is that destination is automatically included in the invoice summary use for VPP. Its normally a mfg charge, not a dealer fee. You can negotiate past VPP, but its hard.

    Is Carwings glitchy for you?

Had been working flawlessly for me, starting yesterday saw same the exact same failure messages. Updates, climate commands, etc all fail. No data loaded into carwings historical.

How to plug in but not charge???

2013 SV with quick charge & LED headlights. 30Amp EVSE at home. So sounds like if I set a standing 80% timer 0100-0700 or similar, it won't charge at plug in. And will charge if needed later, but only to 80%. Keep the main "battery save charge" setting off so it will charge at 100%. I can...

How to plug in but not charge???

Wow, sure seems like there should be a button or setting that tells the car to stop charging So setting a timer with 80% charge, it would never activate since the car is at 90%. But the climate control timer would override that and allow charging for the time the climate control is on...
