I just exchanged my 2015 lease for a 2016 lease for the greater range. Just had it a couple of weeks. Did 98 actual miles from 100% and dash said I had another 19 to go (no low charge warning). Was a combo of freeway and fast rural roads, about 50/50. Impressed so far. No heat, temp in high 50s...
So even with the upgrades you suggested, the best charge time I'm going to get is 5 hours? I thought it might get down to 3 hours, just shows my lack of EVSE knowledge. Guess I'll just stay with what I have. Thanks for your help.

I've just leased a 2015 SV and purchased a TurboCord by AV. I had my electrician install a 20amp dedicated circuit for it. My charging times are faster than the standard 110 that came with the car.
But, I'm now aware that there are far faster ways to charge and want to move up to the faster...
I just leased a 2015 SV with 6.6 charger. BOUGHT a TurboCord from the dealer that sounds like what you're talking about. It was $600. It uses a 220 outlet with 20amp breaker.
Is anyone else having problems getting hooked up to Carwings. I've been trying since Saturday and they have "escalated" my issue, but continue to tell me, each time I call, that it will be 24 to 48 hours before they can get back to me.
