    Trip Planning/Range Anxiety/Plugshare "trust"

It was L1... actually it was "chargepoint station of L1 that they couldn't immediately open and even when they did, the plug of my charging cord wouldn't fit in there enough to actually plug in" so instead, they had an extension cord there already set up and they plugged me into an outdoor...

    Trip Planning/Range Anxiety/Plugshare "trust"

Update!!! So my trip was successful! On the way there I was pretty anxious so I took the "eco" route on my car. I think this was a mistake though because there was a lot more stopping and starting than I was expecting. I arrived at the resort nearly in the "red" on the Guess-o-Meter. Valet...

    3.6 miles/kWh anyone get less?

How does one reset the average? I have not found a way to do so, I'm sure I'm missing something obvious. Now that I've had the car a few months and I'm "used" to driving it, I would like to know what my "new" average would be.

San Jose State University Honors Program - EV Survey

I responded. I am extremely lucky and have employer provided free L2 charging at work. In fact... that was kind of why I considered the car in the first place.

Welcome!!! I am a bit of a newbie as well, I just purchased my 2015 SV two months ago. I didn't lease but just jumped right in. I love it!

Per Chargepoint's website... "Level 1, NEMA 5-20R, 1.9 kW" Per Plugshare Two Tesla HPWC units and one ChargePoint station (L1 120V outlet only) located in the valet area across from the main entrance. The Tesla HPWC's each have a 100A service, capable of delivering the full 80A for...

    Trip Planning/Range Anxiety/Plugshare "trust"

Well... I feel a little bit better now that I have at least confirmed with the colleges (Elkhorn and Burlington) that their electric chargers are working and are available to the public. So there is a sigh of relief there. I will know a couple of people at the thing I'm going to in Lake...

To upgrade home charging or not...

Yes.. I think this is exactly what is going to make me bite the bullet, eventually. Weekends when there is extra running around or what have you... my employer is probably getting more work out of me sometimes because I occasionally come in on the weekends, plug in, and get a couple of hours...

    Trip Planning/Range Anxiety/Plugshare "trust"

I'll start off with saying, I'm nervous. Vital Info: I have a 2015 SV Leaf I just purchased in December. I live in Wisconsin, lately the temperatures have ranged from blistering cold to nice and 60 degrees (impossible to predict what they will be on the dates in question) Trip Planned: Going...

To upgrade home charging or not...

It's hard for me to get into the habit of doing this. I leave at all different times depending on if i'm working out or not so it would involve using the app on the phone, which by the time I remember, I'm usually already walking out the door. I'm a hardy German gal used to a 2001 Camry... so...

Thanks for the input!!! Desiv... loved the long post... echoing my thoughts. A little more info: We live in Wisconsin (I will look up later what our state does for credits but ever since Walker took office... well... let's just say that I'm pretty sure if he had an opportunity to kill that...

To upgrade home charging or not...

I work 5 miles away from home. My work building has a L2 Charger that is free for tenants. So far, I have seen maybe 2 other electric vehicles using the charging station and it's maybe 1 per week. For obvious reasons, it is very convenient for me to just charge my car while I'm working. Even...

Carwings... won't connect for last couple of days

Yes I'm on an iphone... I usually wait quite a while before upgrading OS... but I am probably on 8. It started working again yesterday... go figure.

Carwings... won't connect for last couple of days

I keep getting error messages when I try to "update" like network connection lost... etc. This app leaves a lot to be desired. Do I have to do something in my car to reconnect it or set it up again somehow? I mostly use the app to check where the battery is at while charging it when I'm at...

I'm a leaf on the wind!!!

Thank you. Yes the weather has definitely made it near impossible to run the car with no climate control. I'm a pretty hardy gal but there are limits. I'm planning on spending the night (so I can plug in overnight). I'm also planning on stopping at that outlet mall both ways, I like to knit...

I'm a leaf on the wind!!!

Hmmmm... yeah you might have tempted fate a little bit there with "Wash" Love the plate :) Now that I have a NEW car (this is my first new car ever...)... I might have to get vanity plates next year.

LOL!!!! I actually named my car Serenity in the Nissan CarWings App. The salesguy knew the reference ;) Maybe not a brown coat... but I could use a new pair of brown boots ;)
