The metal plate with the numbers is your key code for the key blade if you need a replacement cut. Nissan only stores maybe the last 10 years worth of key codes so assuming you have the car past 2026 and need a key cut you'll want that metal tag. I'd also suggest writing it down in your owners...

Your 3rd picture appears to be the front left tire on the car but the rotation arrow is pointing the wrong way. Maybe I'm wrong but just a friendly heads up to double check. Looks really good, I've always wanted to do this with some coilovers :D

I ended up with a spare that had this same problem. I popped the handle open and just removed the entire grey button assembly. Works great.

Great information Jeff, with all of your expertise you don't have any recommendations for best practices with light tinting by chance do you? Whether some films are more transparent than others? I know you aren't manufacturing/using these films but figured you may have run into some of these...

I figured this would be the best thread to post this up. I noticed in the shop the other day a versa note up on the lift and it had the spare tire hanger under the rear. It's ridiculously expensive but I wonder if it could be adapted to the LEAF with little modification. May be a good option...

If I knew he was planting trees at the time he stopped in our dealership I would've suggested one at my house :D. But from what I am gathering he is trying to plant one in just about every state he visits since it shows he's at 24/48 on the blog.

Probably a little late here but I believe you are looking for part numbers 62257-3NA0A (LH) and 62256-3NA0A (RH). Nissan prices these at $113.74 a piece so it's not a very practical solution unless you can source an aftermarket version through KeyStone or a similar company for less. What...

Did you have a tint shop install the red overlay on those tails for you or did you buy a precut kit off the net? I've dealt with Lamin-X in the past. I was hoping they offered products for the Leaf but I don't see anything on their site unfortunately.
