    Voice command phone

Recently my voice command has been crazy. When it request "Phone or Navigation" I request phone and it goes "calculating route home". Also when I say "Call Mom" it gives me the entire phonebook of every phone that is connected to the car. This only started last month. To make things more crazy...

NissanConnect EV / Telematics Hardware Update, for the post-2G world

Posted on another thread. Found this thread to be more active. 9/12/2018... 2012 working, 2013 Not working. Still getting intermittent Low signal error message. Problem is not consistent. Nissan Support says they are aware of the problem and has escalated the problem. No remedy in sight. Since...

    2013 Leaf bar loss.

So true. the GOM gets it's data from the my personal driving history. I was just getting worried that the article was implying that the latest software was not going to show a decrease in capacity even there was a drop. Easy to start fake news. but I didn't see anyone denying or confirming...

    2013 Leaf bar loss.

Agreed, my replacement battery is about two years old. When I first picked up I had 12 bars, and 106 on the GOM. after six months, I still had 12 bars an the GOM, had 108. Today, I still have 12 bars, but the GOM says 85. No changes in driving habits or charging methods. After that article...

How often does the leaf charge the 12 volt battery.

Stanton... Please tell me more about your setup. The ones I looked at were $500+. They also required a BMS, which I didn't see any DC-DC available. VERY INTERESTED! THANKS!

How often does the leaf charge the 12 volt battery.

Okay... Gone are the Halogen and incandescent rotating and flashing emergency lights. It's now Strobes and LEDs. Even the Flood/Spot/Search lights after I find one that fits and looks good on a LEAF. The Siren/Air horn/PA needs to be considered also. But it would have to be without reducing...

How often does the leaf charge the 12 volt battery.

Never thought of that. The Optima was an equipment only battery in the dual battery setup in my Jeep. Yes, I get razzed a lot when I respond. I used to own a 1980 Commuta-Car. And learn a lot about consensus driving. When I put the LEAF into service, I had a idea what I was in for. Driving...

    911 calling

I ended up doing that on my phone. Seems like every time we switch between my wife's phone and mine, we have to reload the phonebook. I've been trying to program critical numbers into the car's phonebook. But it doesn't want to retain it.

How often does the leaf charge the 12 volt battery.

My LEAF is also an Emergency response vehicle. Activating your drive mode would be the only option as your 12 volt battery is only 45a/hr battery. At times I need to leave my car's emergency lighting on I am able to put it into assy mode, and lock up my car with the remote. With no fear of...

    911 calling

Hands free calling is blocked while driving. Can you reprogram to allow 911 Emergency calls? Thanks.

How long 'til 4th bar drops?

Never had my guess o meter go above 90. But after my replacement. I'm showing at best, 106. I've been able to exceed 106 per charge several times while using the eco mode and cautious driving, and the AC on!

How often does the leaf charge the 12 volt battery.

On my 2012 and 2013, it charges from the traction battery when on. And the solar panel when off. But the solar panel isn't enough to allow you to charge and run accessories.

    The Battery Replacement Thread

Got my new battery. Charged to 100%. GOM says 86 miles. Not complain. Just happy to get 40 more miles on a charge. Now I can charge to 80% instead of 100% every night. Typical daily commute is 16 miles. Got home and figured, no need charge because GOM said 74 miles. Did my daily commute...

Yep, same here. Looks like nobody is going to do any upgrades until Nissan implements their cellular data and stabalize it. Like so many things, I hope their improvements don't make things worse.

    Charging your EV while shopping

Waipahu... The one at Iwilei, I really don't know about. Lots of complaints about the app. Also trying to activate a new account is a bear. I quit after trying a couple of times trying to activate my account and the charger. User reviews shows I'm not the only one with the problems...
