The City of Portland has a bunch of LEAFs -- a few from the first year, and then they just bought a whole bunch more in the past year. All of them are low miles. It seems that in general the ones in the motor pool that are available for people who don't drive every day have low miles on them.

The built-in nav is terrible -- clunky to operate and I always forget where the stop navigation button is. Plus you it won't route you around traffic. Just get a smart phone mount and stick it in the AC vent. You can still get the audio from the navigation into the car speakers via bluetooth.

I believe he is strictly selling lease returns (I bought one from him a year ago) so probably not likely to see any 2016s for a while.

You speak of the Bolt coming, but how easily you forget of the next-gen LEAF. You know it's coming even though it hasn't been announced yet, so likely LEAF numbers will jump up considerably.

I had a friend with a Honda Civic Hybrid. Emissions light came on when the catalytic converter needed service. Was going to be four figures to fix (to get it through state emissions testing) so she dumped it.

Not to change the topic too much, but is this even possible on the rear end? I tried to do that to put a hitch on and all I ended up with was a small dent in the bumper, because the car wouldn't clear the ramps. Maybe I used the wrong ones?

You could also put the LCS-25 on a 20A circuit and get 4.8 kW. I wired an outdoor plug on a 20A circuit, and got the LCS-25P, so I can take it with me to campgrounds and plug in at RV spots.

Every Level 3 charge I have done (Aeroenvironment, Nissan, others) slows at about 80% and it seems like it's about at Level 2 at that point.

I noticed this the other day, too. My SOH has been around 90% for weeks and then the other day we drove a whole bunch and it went to 92%. Now it's back at 90% again.
