    Thanks. All fixed. From my experience with other cars, I assumed that it would be like clearing a dash warning light, where I'd have to do some combination of pushing buttons while turning the ignition on or off. It didn't occur to me to just go into the menus. :oops:

    Our 2013 SL just passed 24,000 miles, so now a reminder to change the AC air filter comes up on the navigation screen every time we start the car. I've changed the filter, but haven't found how to turn off the nag. Anyone?

    Good idea: I'll air condition our Las Vegas garage. That should only cost two or three times the price of replacing the Leaf's battery pack! :D But I'll be much more comfortable while I'm in there doing all the maintenance work the Leaf needs. Hey, wait a minute!

    Here in Vegas, all the dealers want at least $120 to reprogram another key, and at least 3 locksmiths I found on Angie's List also want $120. No cheap way out for me, except that I bought the fob on eBay for less than $50, and didn't pay the dealer $180+. :x

    Agreed. I was just reading about the security mess with the app. It just boggles the mind that computer professionals (supposedly) could create an app to be used on hundreds of thousands of cars with absolutely NO security.

    Right, and a call to a more knowledgeable service department informed me that the FCC ID code on your new key has to match the one on your existing key. That number is inside the fob, and visible when you remove the key. So I've ordered a replacement fob and now am looking to find a locksmith...
