I'll keep posting soh updates here whenever it changes on Leafspy. Bottom line is the way I drove it on the test drive is how I'll be driving it back and forth to work, so as long as I have the range, that's ultimately what matters to me.

The speed varied because when I started, it was stop and go traffick during rush hour. The second half, the road cleared up, so it was more consistent. It didn't seem to make a difference. My max speed was 50mph. I'm really stoked that the test drive was successful! Thank you so much to everyone...

I got it down to 40% soc, after driving for 50 miles, so I went ahead and purchased it. The most recent readout showed 94% soh.

Just got in the car. Here's the leafspy readout. Is it normal to lose 3% soh after a BMS readout?

I'm going to be doing the long test drive in about 45 minutes. I won't be able to do the highway for about half of it, so I guess it won't be a perfect test.

I might do that. They did ask me if I wanted to take it for a few hours. I didn't think it would be necessary, but that may be the only way I'd consider making the purchase.

What's weird is the GOM said I have another 73 miles left after driving 22. It just doesn't add up.

I'll have to test my scanner on another Leaf to make sure its not my device. If its at 80% soh, it's not worth it at that price tag. I'll probably have to wait or buy a 500e. Hopefully, a better option will come around. I appreciate your advice.

Would a BMS reset make the Leaf have 12 bars? It could be my scanner. I've only used it on that Leaf.

I test drove the 55k Leaf and the 500e today. For some reason, I couldn't get a proper reading with LeafSpy. I drove it from 100% down to 67%, and got 22.3 miles on it in the city. Based on those numbers, the range should be at 66.9 miles making the battery at approximately 80% soh, but it still...

The car would be parked in the garage overnight, and outside when at work. I used to just roll down the front passenger window a little to keep the windshield from fogging. I could resort to that again if necessary. I'll have to double check the heated steering tomorrow when I test drive it.

My old car didn't have a working heater, so I'm already used to driving with no heat. I'd probably just use heated seats/heated steering. I probably won't pull the trigger on the 55k leaf unless I get at least 90% Soh or they offer me a deal I can't turn down.

There's one about 45 miles from me that will service it with an L2 charger nearby. Its an inconvenience, but doable.

There's actually as many used 500e available at that price range as there are used Leafs in Chicagoland. Not sure how that happened, but I'm game. I'm going to test drive both tomorrow.
