    Disable VSP sound by software

Argh. I have android envy. Any chance to make us iOS owners happy?

Please, please, please release an iOS version soon! Low-speed whine in whining!

Is there a rough estimate for when iOS version will be released?

2017 Leaf S, jerking, or skipping when coming to a stop only 62 miles

+1 on regen/ABS. Behaves just like my Prius. Smallest pothole would trigger the ABS for 1/10th of a second. This completely disables regen and it's all friction breaks. Transition is not smooth as they put emphasis on stopping the car. I learned on the Prius to let go of break complexity for a...

    Disable VSP sound by software

From a newbie: What are the VSP start and stop sounds? I don't remember hearing a specific noise from VSP when you start the car? The car plays it's little tune but I don't think that's from the VSP? I know the car beeps when you stop it. I assume this is the stop sound?

ChargePoint Home charger and Amazon install?

My install should be really simple as I want the external box mounted close to where our main fuse box is in the basement. They will need to drill a whole through the basement wall to get cable out but we're talking 10 feet of cable max. I'm in Somerville, MA - there seem to be no rebates for...

    What is this plastic piece?

You, my friend rock! Now I now where to put it back and don't have to worry about it being "Important" (it never looked like it was). /Robert

    Disable VSP sound by software

I'd love to see this in the LeafPro. I'm on the fence buying as I'm not driving car long distances BUT thus would easily put me over the edge!

The official "I got my Leaf" thread

Thanks. The Car isn't pulling or making noise and works great on wet and dry roads. Tire dimensions look very identical to Michelin one. Will keep for now.

    What is this plastic piece?

So I found this (slightly broken) plastic piece in the car I bought: https://www.icloud.com/sharedalbum/#B0i5ON9t3wbVy6;B49F8597-2428-4F33-A5D5-D615BC112972 Any idea what it is and where it goes?

The official "I got my Leaf" thread

Yay! My "new" leaf was delivered yesterday - Base 2015 Red SV. I think only extra might be mud flaps? 17.800 miles and off-lease. Paid $11.500 + taxes I bought it on auction so sight unseen. I took my chances as it was the best price I could find. The listing showed it was in NJ. It turns out...

New Owner Introduction and LeafSpy metrics

Did you buy the car with the idea that you would get a warranty replacement? Seems like a smart if a little bit risky. Will be interesting to see what happen to your car.

Lease is up ... Leaf or Bolt ?

I think that makes a lot of sense. Leasing means you don't really care about battery life. The current Leaf fits your second car driving habits and with a Tesla S in the garage your already set for long trips so no need for extra cost of the bolt.

Limiting charging to 80% and fixing the other few things on my wish list

Very nice work! Might look a lot closer at this once I have access to my '15 SV (hoping for delivery this week). With your system would it be possible to add smarts for when to kick-off the charge? I'd like a system that allows me to keep the car plugged in at home but only kick off charging...

Best battery strategy for low mileage Leaf?

Thank you for the numbers. Our weekday schedule is very fixed. I think I can setup a daily or every other day schedule to charge the car to keep it in the 30-60% range. Perhaps modifying the schedule seasonally. Then we can play it by ear during the weekends. Robert

Best battery strategy for low mileage Leaf?

I appreciate the advice. I will do something similar but plan to do L1 charging for now. I'm also not sure how my wife will feel about it. She's exited about going electric but I'm not sure she wants yet another thing to fiddle with. It just feels like something a piece of SW in an already...

Best battery strategy for low mileage Leaf?

Argh. Nissan truly doesn't offer a great user experience here. It would be great to always plug-in the car but have it only charge when "range is less then <my preferred minimum range> and then only until range is <my preferred maximum range>" (perhaps adding "oh! and have it charged and ready...
