    2019 "60 kWh" Leaf e-Plus

That may be the case, but over here in Japan they’re selling them side-by-side almost as tiers. The 40 is available in 3 trim levels, and the 64 is available in 2. I imagine that will be the case moving forward, but if the can get the price of batteries down, then it does make sense to phase out...

How disappointed should I be that Nissan did not include liquid battery cooling on the Leaf E-Plus?

Nissan and its shills? What? Tesla TMS doesn’t even turn on until the pack hits 45 degrees Celsius. Even in a warm place, it would be very hard for a lot of people to hit that temperature in any situation besides QC on a warm day. Hell, it hits 40+ In Denver in the summer and my friend claims...

    2019 "60 kWh" Leaf e-Plus

I think they announced that the 60kWh is only available in the upper trims.

    iOS LeafSpy Pro Support

That was the original plan. I thought I’d support the developer and just get LeafSpy Pro on Android anyway. But then Turbo3 couldn’t be bothered to check the thread he linked to on the App Store and the seller who sent me the wrong dongle was very nice. So rather than throw more money at the...

    iOS LeafSpy Pro Support

No, I’m not gonna fall for this. If the answer is “no,” that’s fine, but since the Apple support page’s “contact the developer” link points to this forum directly, he should check the thread every so often or make sure that points somewhere else. That’s not “going above and beyond.” That’s...

    iOS LeafSpy Pro Support

This is absolutely ludicrous. For as much as you charge for this app, there needs to be a better way to contact you. Seems like a “GFY, I have your money kinda deal.” You should check this thread at least every couple of days. I made my first post over two weeks ago.

2018 LEAF Vs Tesla Model 3 SR: A Comparison Table for the USA

Hey, this thread is finally relevant! Congrats to all EV fans. This is a big day. And Elon said he’s going to try to bring the price down even further in just two more years. Good stuff.

    2019 "60 kWh" Leaf e-Plus

I wonder when they’ll start showing up in America. They’re for sale here in Japan and the dealership near me has one out front. I want to schedule a test drive. I’m happy with my 40, so I won’t do anything, but I’d like to see how peppy it is.

Wow... Fantastic customer service. Thanks for this.

    iOS LeafSpy Pro Support

The Apple App Store redirects here, so I guess I’ll give this a shot. I purchased an OBDII adapter online and got LeafSpy Pro for iPhone. When my adapter arrived, it turned out it’s only compatible with Android devices. I would like to request a refund and buy the Android version for my tablet...

    Newbie battery question

I’ve only experienced phantom drain once. I lost 6% over night, but it was about -13C outside and snowing. Sounds like you may have an issue.

Why is the LEAF pulling away from the Volt?

That’s not true at all. We’re still hearing reports of Model 3s with bad paint jobs, misaligned panels, battery packs that need replacement and more. The Model X in the Tesla showroom at my local mall has a visibly crooked frunk and frunk latch. It’s no secret they have quality issues. The cars...

    Goodbye Leaf, Hello Model 3

Is this guy still going on about Model 3? Yes, it’s a great car, but it’s not for everyone. And the 2019 hybrid Accord we’re apparently comparing it to now has an insane feature set and can be had today fully-loaded for $36K or so. The cheapest Model 3 that’s available in a reasonable time frame...

Despicable: Japan to Resume Commercial Whaling

Wow... you either didn’t read my post or you didn’t understand it. Calm down, re-read it, and then respond. Nothing you said had anything to do with what I said.

Despicable: Japan to Resume Commercial Whaling

A bunch of neckbeards in the most polluting and resource destroying first world nations criticizing another country for killing a handful of whales while using electronics essentially made by slaves with resources bought from groups committing brutal atrocities in Africa. Cool thread, guys...

2018 LEAF Vs Tesla Model 3 SR: A Comparison Table for the USA

...should be between vehicles that exist. Still not one SR delivery in the entire world. Meanwhile, I’ve racked up 26,000km on my Leaf with approximately 3% degredation.

2018 LEAF Vs Tesla Model 3 SR: A Comparison Table for the USA

The LEAF E-Plus price has apparently leaked. MSRP of $35,400. Goes into production in January with LG Chem battery. Available in Japan at the beginning of Q1, in America at the end of Q1. Should make things interesting.

2018 LEAF Vs Tesla Model 3 SR: A Comparison Table for the USA

I don’t expect that will happen. There are a lot of people shorting Tesla and a whole heck of a lot of people who just don’t like electric cars. It sucks. I really hope they can hold out.

It’s now been almost 10 months since this thread began, and the car in question still doesn’t exist.

I don’t get the hate for the analog speedo. I like it a lot. And you can always pull up a digital one on the little screen to the left.
