What are the power buttons for on the homelink mirror?

Yes the regular garage door opener works as does the manual. I tried following the manual to reprogram the HomeLink, but it does not reset when I push in the two left buttons for 20 sec. The green light remains stable.

    Range estimate is very non-linear

Many thanks for developing this app. It should remove a lot of the guess work from my driving my favorite car.

What are the power buttons for on the homelink mirror?

Another HomeLink question: My HomeLink Transiever does not open the garage anymore. The reprogramming does not work - green light remains steady. Any suggestions before I have to take that horrible trip to the far away Nissan Dealer?

West Los Angeles needs Nissan Dealership.

The only Nissan Dealership in West LA closed last year. Not only is it inconvenient for current Leaf owners like myself to have to drive a long distance to get serviced, but Nissan is shooting itself in the foot if they want to sell more cars of any type in this region which happens to be one of...

    HomeLink transceiver stopped working

I have 5000 miles on my 2011 Leaf. Recently I noticed that the HomeLink Transceiver which I had programmed to open my garage door no longer functions. When I follow the manual's directions and hold both left buttons in for 20 sec, the green light stays constant and does not blink. The manual...

    Range estimate is very non-linear

I find that when I start off with battery full, the bar indication goes down quicker than the actual miles driven. The difference varies but is usually 10-15 miles after driving around 10-20 miles. Is this normal? I drive on Eco mode. Larry

Let's Tell Nissan How To Fix Climate Control

I agree entirely with this suggestion. I much rather want to use recirculating air for windshield defogging rather than be forced to use outside air. I realize that big brother Nissan decided that using outside air is the most efficient way to defog the windshield, but I have driven many other...

    Fuses

I just bought a 12 V portable heater that someone in these Forums had recommended. Does anyone know what size fuse handles the 12V cigarette lighter. This needs 15 Amp.

Climate Control Solution - Gain Control of your Heater!

I myself have not been able to override it. Would be nice it I could.

Climate Control Solution - Gain Control of your Heater!

Phil This definitely would be nice to have. I have another suggestion if you are hacking the climate control: Enable using "recirculation" when the front window defrost is "on". Right now it automatically opens "fresh air". I want to be able to defrost the windshield without having to breath...

    Coda electric car

Does anyone know anything about the new Coda electric car? It seems that they claim 150 miles range. Are there any dealers in Los Angeles for service?

Seems like Santa Monica Nissan Out Of Business..

Closing this dealership means I must take my Leaf to downtown LA Nissan for any service. Not good at all. Traffic is always terrible! I bet they will not shuttle me back home on the West side of LA. If I had known there would be no Nissan Dealer nearby I probably would not have purchased the...

Is your LEAF solar-powered, or will it be at some point?

I have solar panels on my roof that generate around 30 kwhrs/day. I cant add more panels due to the roof exposure. Recently I had a separate TOU meter installed for the 240 V charger so that I can get the rebate for the charger installation from LADWP. I do the Leaf charging at night when the...

    Ventilation problem

Wow! I opened a hornet's nest here. Perhaps I did not understand some of the comments, but I still find that it is impossible to use "Mode" to change the air to the windshield and maintain recirculation mode. The minute you do that it changes to fresh air mode. There is no way I can figure out...

    Ventilation problem

In Los Angeles where I live, you really don't want to breath the air on a Freeway or behind a truck or SUV. And we don't have to worry about excess humidity since it is usually very dry. The reason that I wanted to use the Automatic Climate Control is that the Manual says that the Automatic...

    Ventilation problem

Nissan has decided that the Leaf driver cannot select "Air Recirculation" while the "Automatic Climate Control" is on but must use the "Fresh Air Intake" mode. This also occurs when you click on the "Front Defroster" button. I guess that some Nissan engineer in his wisdom has decided that it is...

trials and tribulations and the Santa Monica Place

Hi There is a Prof at UCLA who is actually doing this. Dr. Rajit Gadh had an active research program on using multiplexers so that several cars can simultaneously charge at standard 240 V charging stations or even at 110 V trickle charge stations. It still does not solve the problem of non-EV's...

How to import cellphone telephone numbers

Thanks for the rapid reply. How do I import them using the Bluetooth connection to the cell phone?

How to import cellphone telephone numbers

How do import cell phone telephone numbers into the Leaf navigation System? What format file does it accept? Can I use a USB connection to a laptop or only a Micro SD chip?

    Auto defrost question

Is it possible to run the Automatic Windshield Defrost and use recirculating air rather than external air? I don't like getting car exhaust.
