I use e-pedal all the time in my 2018 Leaf - it works well, and consistently in all conditions. The explanation given by the engineer sounds like nonsense to me, and is likely just an inability or unwillingness to actually find the problem with your car. Not sure what you can do about it...

Just got a quote from the dealer to replace the shifter module - £858 fitted including VAT. So not crazy expensive, but probably should wait to see if it really is the problem before getting it done. It's tempting just to do it though.... Any news on your car apk?
