12V battery died, SOH and SOC messed up after replacing 12V

All the $60 or so battery specs I looked at on Amazon all use the same low rate cells. 20A max with some with 40A peak with the smallest BMS / PCB. None of these would work in an EV or any car in my opinion (after 12 years of being involved in the Li battery business ). And, Amazon return policy...

I work at an auto parts store and the average...

How to monitor the 12V battery's health?

The only reason I can think of to use lead over lithium is upfront cost. $200 vs $250 . This is short term thinking that is more expensive in the long run. I rarely hear of anyone willing to spend the extra $50... it's crazy.

12V battery went "bad" after VCM recall?

I work in an auto parts store. The average end of life of a flooded battery is 3 yrs and starts to degrade after 2 years. People that get more than 4 years are living on borrowed time.

Replacing 12V Battery with LiFePO4 (Video)

In my experience, a ' self heating battery ' cant generate sufficient heat for a long enough time without draining it.
