Dropped car off Sunday night, problem fixed Monday morning. Diag was "cracked ac line b/t condenser and evaporator" - hose replaced.

oh no...AC stopped working. 2013 S, 15k mi plan to bring it in this weekend.

CopperRoad, call Nissan and ask them to pay for your gas. They did for me when I had my PDM replaced which took 3 weeks.

Does anyone know how to obtain the current sw/firmware of the LEAF S? (no carwing) Bateman, do you have the sw/firmware version that was applied on your car? I had the PDM replaced couple weeks ago. But dealer never said anything sw update. I afraid without the new sw, the new PDM may fail...

Just charged to 100% from about 30% fine on L2. Hope it was only a bad part and not a design issue.

Finally got my car back today after 15 days. PDM replaced. Problem fixed supposedly. We'll see. Here's the notes in the invoice, which contains the diag codes. Instead of scanning and post, i'll just type it here verbatim. ***begin notes*** 4703 hooked up scanner & pulled codes p316c, p3170...

I agree. I hit the problem, and where i'm at, it rarely hits 80F in the last 3 months. But one thing I have observed with my car, that I have not seen it mentioned, is that the problem occurs with L2 charging, not with L1. which makes sense if it's an issue of marginal part(pdm).

Thanks for the number. I called 800nissan1 (before seeing flakeyblakee message), and they xfer me to the right place. I opened a case. They said they'll get on it. Gave me a direct contact. I also asked them to pay for gas on my gas loaner. They agreed.

Friday came and went without any update from dealer. I called them today and...no parts...not even an estimate on when they'll get the part. I'll call 1800-nissan1 on Monday to file a claim. The car has been in the dealer for 10 days now. It's not looking good.....sigh.....

Same problem here. 2013 S with 4600 miles. Car been in the dealer for 5 days. They just called and said it's the PDM; need to order part. promise to have the car fixed by friday. We'll see if that promise holds up...

Thanks Ray for the reminders. But no, I don't need those features. The only thing is the faster charger, and even that is only a "nice to have" feature for me(yes, i thought about it based on distance, time, driving habit, schedule, etc.) Finance wise, yep I know that part and I'm ok with it...

For me it's an easy decision to buy, since my employer give me $3k for buying an EV. 28.8k - 7.5k federal - 2.5k state - 3k employer = $15.8k for a new Leaf What a deal! I thought.
