Update: Took a few days at the Nissan Dealer. Seems they have to overcharge the battery, run some diagnostics, almost fully discharge the battery, then run some diagnostics again. The result was great. A brand new set of batteries will be here in 6 weeks. I will officially be the first battery...

So I am very confused about the when the 4th bar drops situation. It can be battery health range between 63% to 65%. It can be aHr between 41 to 44. It seems like the Nissan Leaf software is spinning a roulette wheel to figure out when to drop the bar. I am a software programmer and my software...
Thanks everyone for the good suggestions. Because range is the most important item for me I will go with the Ecopia's again. I am hoping like stated in some of the posts that I will get more mileage out of the non-OEM Ecopias.

Turned on my 2012 Leaf this morning and got my first EV System Warning Light. My car is set up for automatic charging starting at midnight. The car did not charge. Turned the power button OFF then back ON. The warning light then cleared and the car is charging OK.
