The new SpC V3 are pretty easy to understand.. just rip out the current 11kw stacks and put in the new (and even smaller for factor) 72a chargers.. from Tony... Just don't see any other manufacturer doing anything near this or rapid expansion...

I agree with you (finally for a change!!) 100% Get these new 100kw NexGen combo CHAdeMO/CCS units out there and start cranking away! Sad state of affairs for the Baker station.. just get it done already!

I see two different things here... 1. YES! Tesla started off (small) but those SpC's were always BIGGER than the car's largest spec battery was so at least I'm charging at a 1c or avg rate. I love how all these Bolt (and soon to be Leaf e-PLUS owners) will be sitting at all the CURRENTLY...

If I had to speculate.... it's probably because people are waking up to the reality of not wanting to drive around with 10k psi H2, lack of fueling, etc,etc,etc,etc,... Down goes the H2 hype machine (just like we predicted years ago).... damn I love our EVs!!! (Rav, ModelS and ModelX!!) :lol...

While some of the comments hit some good facts, truth be told that the avg consumer will go after ANYTHING if it has the word "FREE" in it. In this case my neighbor had visions of grandeur with all that FREE FUEL but the thing is it comes with a price! :lol: That price is limited...

Having a heat soaked battery again is not a bad thing. Tesla shows and proves that! They run their cells warm/hot! It's all about the chemistry and Nissan chooses to use a crappy one. Plus you can't run passive air cooling on a large thermal mass and expect it to work if the air itself is also...
