My 2015 Leaf has 64,000 miles. Battery still has 9 bars, but at full charge is only showing about 12 miles. With full charge indicator for low battery lite is on. When I start driving it, the battery % drops very quickly. When it gets below 30% the miles to go drops to nothing. I can only go about 12 miles with a full charge of 9 bars? Any ideas what's wrong, the batter doesn't seem that bad with 9 bars, but almost no range. ? Photo is recent.

My guess would be you have one or two bad cells, A scan of the cell voltage either through Leafspy or other scanner would tell you more.

The OP better take his car into a dealer yesterday so that the problem is documented if the warranty is still in effect. I fully expect the dealer to say 'the pack is fine,' but at least the process will start.

I would guess his warranty expired last year or earlier,
