2013 NISSAN LEAF; VOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN PDM SOFTWARE UPDATE
Nissan is conducting a voluntary service campaign on certain Model Year 2013 LEAF vehicles to
reprogram the Power Delivery Module (PDM). This service will be performed at no charge for
parts or labor.

Looks like an error code is generated when the module is hot, even though there is no actual problem. This in turn interferes with charging.

I found it by going to http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/owners/SearchSafetyIssues and searching for 2013 Nissan Leaf. This gives access to recalls, complaints and summaries of service bulletins. Clicking on "Associated Documents" for this service bulletin led to the "customer satisfaction campaign" letter.

BTW this is my first post - I expect to pick up my '14 SL tomorrow morning and will be active here :)
