So rumors get somewhat more real. Porsche is trying to catch up.

Note that this is a concept car, not a real production car. You might able to buy something like this in a year or four.

It is slower than a Model S. More range.
 
More range is still uncertain. They are not talking about specific cycles.

Since the car will take a few years to build - Tesla's range would have increased too, anyway. They'll have to catch a moving target.

It will also likely be much more expensive that the Tesla... And probably less reliable.

Two permanently activated synchronous motors (PSM) generating a system output of more than 600 horsepower accelerate the electric sports car to 60 miles per hour in well under 3.5 seconds and to 124 miles per hour (200 km/h) on the track in less than twelve seconds.
