It was a bit odd that Nissan, a leader in BEVs, was one of the few major automaker that didn't have a luxury PHEV.

LONDON -- Infiniti has begun development of a flagship plug-in hybrid, said a source within the premium brand's parent company, Nissan Motor Co.

The car is likely to be the production version of the Q80 Inspiration concept revealed last autumn at the Paris auto show, which Infiniti said would be launched in three to five years as a rival to the Mercedes-Benz S class...

Yawn... Nissan will find some way to mess it up I am sure!
