On March 26, we'll be participating in the San Diego Race for Autism in Balboa Park. It is organized by the National Foundation for Autism Research, based in San Diego, and they do a great job supporting teachers, programs, and research with the funds raised.

My wife and I have two boys with Autism, so this is a cause that is close to us. It is difficult at times to deal with all the issues that the boys have, and I'm very grateful to have friends on this board that allow me to have some online fun and occasional meets to have some "Leaf talk".

If anyone would be interested to help support our team in the Race for Autism with a donation, I'd be extremely honored. Here's a link to our team's site below, and you can be assured that the funds are used to help the cause....Thanks very much, and please help us spread the word.....

Thanks, Adrian and JimmyD....Very much appreciated....

Our two boys are 14 and 8 (Brandon and Stephen)...It's hard to explain sometimes the special challenges we face as parents, but we try to make the best of it and have some fun along the way...

If you're interested and want to check out our website, we have a special Christmas Lighting display in San Diego that we use as therapy for the boys (and me!).

Be sure to read what our visitors posted in our guestbook last Christmas!! Very inspirational....

We have a lot of fun planning, designing, and lighting up...Last December, just before the arrival of my Leaf, Joanna from Fontana Nissan and her son drove all the way down to check out the display! That was very nice of her....And Leon from Mossy Nissan lives nearby and he stopped by the display as well...It's the bright spot of our year (pun intended)!!!

Thanks again for your support...
