SQL errors, so I can't quote. Speaking of PM 2.5, the AQI reading in Oakland hit 247 yesterday (it was 235 at 3 p.m. today) the monitoring station in Livermore hit 282 over the noon hour today and the site in San Pablo was 323 at 11 a.m. owing to smoke from the Camp Fire, which has been smoking up the entire Bay Area for a week now. N95 masks are in wide use, although they don't help with PM2.5. Schools are closed today (as was AAA when I went to pay a bill), sports events have been cancelled or re-scheduled including the Cal-Stanford Big Game (football); public transit agencies are giving free rides so people don't have to walk/bike/drive, but S.F. isn't operating the Cable Cars as they're open.

I've been staying indoors as much as possible and avoiding physical exercise for the past several days. Even so, like most otherwise healthy people I've had a scratchy throat and eyes, runny nose, cough etc., and the people with respiratory problems have been having real problems.
